Agreed. . I’ve “heard” McKenzie is even better this year. But FC definitely should have won the game last year. The difference btw our Qb and theirs was the difference. We had a lethargic very slow kid with an average arm and McKenzie had a mobile playmaker. That was the difference. FC has a soph Qb who is light years ahead of the kid starting last season. Maybe we’ll see the matchup. Maybe McKenzie is better this year but i know FC is for a fact.

Yeah i think i may have overstated City’s Team. There’s a Huge difference btw the Oakland’s Maryville’s and Alcoa’s and a good or even great 1A team. Ok I’m back to reality. Guess i just thought seeing them dominate the #4 4A team clouded my brain temporarily.

Who really gives AS about a retired Coach. . Hes won a State Title. He’s the AD now. Let’s spend our time talking about the current THS program. . He’s already got a Street named after him and all the accolades that go with that honor. . Let’s move on to the future please.

Agreed. . He had a great guy hired but he took a job at James Clemons in Alabama. He loved the Tullahoma Schools for his kids. But the other job paid a lot better apparently.

The FC team i saw last night would give anyone in the State a Game regardless of classification. Big Strong Fast. I’m not sure how good the teams are in the West this year but they sure didn’t look like the team that played MC a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah back before Saban we beat Bama like clubbing baby seals for a decade. Tide fans act like they’ve been great since the Bear. Titles are won and lost on Natl Signing Day. Saban is by far the best used car salesman in the Country. But the “GOAT”. Hardly. We saw what he did in the NFL on a fairly level playing field. I’m sure Lombardi would have let him make coffee for the staff like Butch Jones. These East Tn Bama fans remind me of the Cowboy fans when they made a run. You nailed it they just jumped on the bandwagon. Either your blood is orange thru thick or thin or it’s not. Win or Lose today my heart and soul still bleeds Orange.

Can we give the coaches a break. . These same guys won a State Championship. Yes Olive is gone but he’s still got an office in the training facility and serves as AD. He’s overseeing the program. Does anyone think they’d be any better with him directly running the program? If my memory is correct i believe they lost 20+ games in a row several years ago but they gave him a mulligan because he’d been successful for decades. I still believe Sisk is the right head coach. He’s working his tail off with these kids. Lots of games are determined by making a few plays. Ultimately the kids just haven’t made a few plays this year when it counted. This team would beat the socks off those o’fer teams 5yrs ago. Yes it’s sort of a down year but the coaches aren’t the problem. Let’s face it they’re just nowhere near as good athletically as the 2 previous seasons.

Rider got the most out of the kids he had to work with. They’d run thru a brick wall for that man. Just too many injuries at the end for a playoff run. Except the 98 team. Really gut wrenching loss at Maryville they should have won. The 82 team was 9-0 and ranked # 3 but a season ending 6pt loss at Kingsport and subsequent 28-0 loss to Jeff Co was certainly due to losing 5 starters to injury. That cost Rider a lot of times in the Playoffs. There wasn’t enough depth to complete with schools 2-3X larger by the end of the season with kids banged up.

Disappointing Loss. . I really thought Tullahoma would win this one. I guess that’s why you play the games.

I’ve been asking why # 5 isn’t in the backfield rotation on at least a couple of plays on every series. He’s strong and quick. City has a lot of weapons at their disposal IF they’ll just get their athletes the ball.

Congrats to the Kids and Coach Sisk for a Win. . Tullahoma Football isn’t going anywhere but Up after a rough start.

It’d be a nice touch for Tullahoma to at least make the playoffs. Considering they had to basically replace every position player from last year. I’m optimistic about their future. I believe they have the right coaches in place and alot of Kids excited about the Program.

That’s EXACTLY what I’ve Heard. You have an athletic Kid and put in an application at Alcoa Aluminum and you immediately got a job making 26$ an hour. . And move on in to the Football Factory. Can’t the TSSAA see WTF their Doing???

I think Tullahoma is going to get better as the season goes on. They’ve been out on the practice field this week with both the kids and coaches working their tails off to improve. No fall break vacation for these kids in preparation for Thursdays game. They’ll win and make the playoffs. Not sure about the playoff bracket but I’d like to see them get another shot at MC with a complete team.
