  1. This is absolutely false information besides the booster club comment.
  2. always rooting for Eagleton. Who are their OC and DC? DC might need to step it up a bit this week to get ahold of this Oneida team and make sure they're stopped.
  3. My point was because this game should have been broadcasted YEARS ago because of the deep rivalry. So my wondering how they made it happen is what changed for RIVALRY THURSDAY to want to showcase actual rivalries instead of top tier elite teams or teams that are more recently rivals. Cool your jets.
  4. We hear you. Even if you're the Grinch and wouldn't touch it with a 39 and a half foot pole, someone will. Someone will look at this so called circus and say, ya know, I've been a ringmaster before, let's do this. I want this. Some of these fans, parents, etc probably didn't handle things properly after the hire and that's ok. Why? because sometimes emotions and the love you have for your school, community, and team/kids can cloud your judgement. We all have made mistakes. And the atmosphere can change. However, these kids and this school want to turn it around and they can see what you're posting, so why not just take your salt-y attitude and put it towards positivity for the program whether you're a Cherokee fan or not. Let the real coaches come out of the woodwork that want what's best for these kids.
  5. I'm just saying. Record at that county school doesn't mean squat. Anybody who knows, knows.
  6. since we're heading into Halloween, let's stir the pot shall we? isn't there a big GREENBACK guy available currently? head coaching experience with a multitude of awards and a big defensive mind? 🐷+🌳
  7. Look at you calling it. I guess Coach O held his good players out again and decided to keep his offense on the down low aka non-existent.
  8. They said that last year, too. . .
  9. orrrrr the boys that aren't playing ball are holding one or two after school jobs to help their families keep food on the table or make sure their little brother/sister is taken care of, or are babysitting, or are trying to mentally make it through life. Just a different perspective as I know a lot of boys out that way are in weight training class, have abilities and major skill set, but, family life comes before sports.
  10. Agree. The man literally sacrificed time, moments, memories you can't get back with his own family for every single athlete at that school. (and many others) To those that continue to be negative about him and continue to bring him up; He's been loyal, hardworking and just his entire coaching career. Ask anyone that actually has a leg to stand on in regard to Coach.
  11. Egotistical? That's a new one. It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.
