I guess you can look at it as a win/lose situation either way you want to look at it.
In reality, just to be real, we all think we're gonna flat out dominate them. That doesn't mean we're looking for them to give us anything. We just think we have all the matchups for this one. However, we're not really seeing what we will have to face later in the season. But it will give us confidence and momentum going into Oakland if we dominate. Of course, we won't have much to be proud about, but regardless of the team, who's not gonna be confident after a blowout, ya know? Say if we played a team such as the likes of Franklin, and maybe ended up losing. That wouldn't be as good of momentum and confidence going into Oakland.
Maybe this was scheduled because there are two new head coaches for both teams.
Prediction:
LaVergne comes out strong. One thing I want LaVergne to work on this game is staying consistent and not dropping off. Against Blackman there were maybe two drives in a row that LaVergne couldn't execute and that did nothing but give them more confidence and motivation to win. Even though we was controlling the game, we let them stick around . We could have struck early, but we kind of lost tempo a little bit. I'll have to blame that on Gray's fumble towards the goal line on the 1st drive. ....
LaVergne wins. No score prediction.
