At this point, it is tough to choose between two great teams and programs. Coaches, Alumni, and Players bring many fine attributes to the table. Plummer is a class act and has been in this position long before the present day players graduated from "Kinder-Kare". The east Tennessee tradition of soccer is well deserved. The young men from Bearden are more than capable of winning this game. Greg will give a prediction, if I am wrong, drill the heck out of me. From what I have seen this year, HHS 3 BHS 2. Good luck to both teams, parents...remember it is only a game.

Middle Tenn. makes a statement. BGA and Hendersonville have the tools and temper to win. Last year Brentwood and Father Ryan. Read into this want you want, but I think this says alot about the state of soccer in middle-tennessee. What do you think???

Explain this: The Redmond Top 11 is a joke. Father Ryan has a subpar record, and isn't even number 1 in Division 2, yet they are the top team in the state? Christian Brothers is hands down the best team in the state, ranked number one in D2, have a great schedule, and are supposedly the third best team in the state? Blackman with a 9-6 record unranked in AAA, but #6 overall? CAK is #11, the 3 time A/AA defending champs, who beat Farragut, a #8 seed, and are no higher? Also, where's Science Hill who beat Farragut 3-0 and CAK 3-2. I guess they are replaced by Bearden who lost to Maryville and tied TN High. Explain please? All that crying and where is this great team now? If you all had been on this board you would have known that the rankings have not been updated since the end of last year. Who cares now. Rankings mean nothing....the boys will play it on the field

Good point, but if Brentwood played a marginal out of district schedule, this would take care of itself. I might be wrong, but I guess we will never know

I do not think that anyone from Hendesonville would mind this thread, but I could be mistaken.

I have seen both kids play. The young man throwing the ball in from Ryan is much more dangerous. Ydet, I guess its tough to stop a ball with "both hands tied behind your back". Congrats on the victrory tonight...we were on the loosing end of the first game, but their is always next year.

Good question, this could explain the close scores with Briacrest and MUS in the region tourney.

MBA has a tough draw, but they play very well as a "team". If BGA plays like they have the last two games, they will be in the final. I look for Ryan to give Baylor all the want. I beleive that MBA could pull the upset. Good luck to all the guys from middle tennessee.

You are right, the only logical explination is that MBA was some way omitted from the pool of teams in which to choose. They are a top 10 program.

5-2 hendersonville, this may not be the final score, but it was late in the second half.

While the winner of d2 middle could win state, I would say it is very unlikely. I have seen all d2 middle teams play this year as well as Christian Brothers and I would have to say they are in a different league. This team is the best hs soccer team I have seen in a while and I predict tehm to win state with little or no trouble.

Why not focus on Big East Soccer. FRA dominance in Nashvegas is over. When FRA cannot beat BA in soccer...the times are a changing. This is only an observation, but I wish you the best.

Hendersonviile and Brentwood should advance from middle tennessee.

Sweeper for Hendersonville has the combo of speed and quickeness. Fastest means nothing if you cannot change direction and maintain balance. Book it.

McCallie played two d2 middle teams during the regular season. Lost both, They have not even played the top two teams...mba and bga... easier road to the finals...maybe so, but i think easier said than done. I am interested in what you think.............
