  1. I hope DCA thinks Tyner is a freebie. If they do they will get a huge suprise. Don't let Tyner's record decieve you, because they played an extremely tough schedule this year. Also, DCA just squeeked by Bledsoe, and Tyner drilled them, none of that matters now, but Tyner is no freebie.
  2. This should be a great game next friday night. I think if Tyner limits their turnovers they can pull this one out.
  3. Congrats to the pirates on a hard fought win, they have a great team and there is no reason why they should not will it all in class A. Unfortunately for Tyner, the road just keeps getting tougher. Tyner still has Howard, McCallie and Boyd Buc left on the schedule (also Sequatchie and a team from North Carolina). The Rams could possibly finish the year below .500, due to their monster schedule but of course they have already clinched a playoff berth. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.
  4. I have to say I do commend SP for playing Tyner and Boyd Buc, and I know SP can't help it if their region opponents are inferior. Tyner has a few things to work on mainly punt blocking and secondary issues. Those are the biggest areas where SP can capitalize and gain an advantage on the Rams , but Tyner's D-line and LB's are stout. Hopefully, this game will be a classic!!
  5. Not trying to be funny, but who has SP really played this year to make people believe they are so great. I gaurantee you if Tyner played South Pittsburg's first couple of opponents the score would be just the same or a whole lot worse.
  6. I hope SP realize that Tyner is no Copper Basin, Lookout Valley, David Brainerd, or Marion County. Tyner has played against Brainerd who just dominated Cleveland and Rhea County, and should have beat Fulton who is a 3A powerhouse. SP may be favored, but Tyner is battle tested. With that said, this should be an excellent game.
  7. Thanks for understanding me TynerRamFan and like I stated earlier I meant no disrespect to Bledsoe or anybody else, trust me when I played at Tyner a while ago we used to be on the wrong side of the score board every now and then so I know about humility. I know Coach Turner and the boys will work to improve the kicking game so hopefully it will be all good.
  8. I was not rubbing salt on any wounds, just stating the importance of making extra points. If you were at the game you saw how many were missed and it was more than one or two. I wish Bledsoe the best of luck the rest of the season, but the bottom line those PAT's could cost us on down the line and that's all I was trying to say.
  9. If you had any sense at all you would realize that the kicking game is very important, especially in the playoffs, but thats right if you're not IN the playoffs you wouldn't understand. True football fans know that special teams are extremely important and could cost you a game. Also you don't know me polecat or whoever you are so what right do you have to call me classless.
  10. Tyner looked good, but their kicking game needs lots of work. I'm a Tyner fan, but our kicking game really stinks(even more than usual), but other than that, everything else will be alright.. GO RAMS!!
  11. I would like to wish all the teams in the Chattanooga area good luck this season!! Hopefully someone can bring home a gold ball this season.
  12. Sorry to burst your bubble but the last time Tyner and Ooltewah scrimmaged was in 1995, and Tyner beat put a pretty good whipping on them, I know I was out there opening all kinds of holes for our backs to run through, however the previous year in 1994 Ooltewah did beat Tyner pretty good in the regular season and for some reason they would not schedule Tyner anymore. Tyner is not scared of anyone, and it's a shame that a little ol 2A school is the only public school who will play McCallie in the regular season in Chattanooga. Win, Lose, whatever-Tyner never makes excuses no matter the outcome and more schools should do the same.
  13. I want to congratulate Damon Floyd on getting the head coaching job at Bradley Central. He will have a tough road ahead of him, but if anybody can do it Damon can. I've known Damon for about nine years and I was a teammate of his on the football team at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga so I know how hard he works. Congrats and good luck buddy!!
  14. Nothing compares to High School Football. It's been ten years since I played my last high school football game and I still miss it so much. I played college football for four years and it still did not compare to the great times and lessons learned in high school.
  15. Well as far as I know Boyd Buchanan had Gordon Lee, GA scheduled for this and next football season but next football season Georgia High School Football will be starting two weeks later than Tennessee so more than likely Boyd might have to drop Gordon Lee, which might leave an opening for South Piittsburg. I think SP has an open date when BB had Gordon Lee scheduled so it might be a possiblity, but this is not confirmed.
  16. B.J. Coleman QB at McCallie
  17. Stop making excuses and yes you heard me correctly the first time TYNER ROLLS!!!
  18. Once again Tyner rolls 49-15!!! Go RAMS!!!
  19. Congrats to Tyner on a big win but Marion should not hang their head they played hard all night. I hope Van Kinsey is okay. Go Rams beat the Bucs !! (Again)
  20. Region 3 2A Rules!! Go BUCS and RAMS!!
  21. Not enough PURPLE tonight, Rams roll 42-7
