I've heard that a decision will be made in January. The search is air tight this time around (haven't heard any names), but we all know that news travels fast once a decision is made.
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that a comment like the previous one came from someone who has never coached football...especially at the 5A level.

C'mon now.
I like Cannon County, but let's not throw them in with Alcoa, Smith County, Milan, Goodpasture, CPA, Westview, Huntington, Loudon, Peabody, Lewis County, Hickman County, and Camden just quite yet.

Your lockers look great.
Student athletes put a lot of hard work in, and it's good to provide them with quality facilities.
Cannon County has been interviewing candidates.
MTCS is keeping a tight lid on their search.

I know very little about his coach, except for the fact that he has won many games.... and put numerous kids in college..... and played in the boro more than few times. I know this sounds like a sarcastic post, but I really don't know much else about this coach. What has he done to warrant negative thread about his hiring?

And who knows, MC may have an Ace up their sleeve and hire someone completely off the radar like Eagleville.
I don't think many people suspected they would hire who they did.
