No one is taking anything away from the job Brady has done with LSU, and I hope they win it all, but, LSU has twice the talent that UT had this year and are a much deeper team. UT just did'nt have the depth needed once you reach the NCAA tourny, to accomplish what they did this year is a direct result of the job Pearl did. It's easy to boast about the job Brady has done after the fact, but they were expected to compete for a title this year> With that being said, it has been great to watch "Baby', and that Thompson kid, I think thats his name, the red shirt freshman, wow, what a player!!

On the OS schedule it has Sunbright on Friday March 24, was this game played or rained out? anyone know?

Cheap way to get people to pay??? It cost a big $12.00 a year to join CoachT, calling CoachT cheap is kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. Cough up the 12 bucks, or go to another site!!! If Coalfield can't beat OS when they have so many errors, what makes you say they should have won the game, I think if OS doesn't have as many errors its a blowout.

I don't have a dog in this race, but, personally, I found your post to be well written and informative, I never felt as if you were attacking anyone or rude in your post. Seems to me, you went out of your way to correctly inform the other posters what happened and why. Good Posts!!

I'm an Oliver Springs and Oak Ridge fan, so the only bands I see are those playing against us. But, If you have ever seen Kingstons band perform, you'll know what I'm talking about. At this years football game they rocked on playing Guns N Roses, and a couple of jazz songs, and they sound great, then at the basketball game, they have a pep band, and would swear that it was the whole band playing, sounds really good!!

That says it all!!!

Actually Todd was not the AD when Coach Christopher was hired, she is the school nurse for the middle school and high school, she was an assistant coach under Todd. When Todd left for Roane State, OS not only lost its girls basketball coach, but, also the AD. So when the decision was made about a new coach, OS really didn't have an AD at the time. You have to remember that this happened about two weeks before the season was set to start, there was not the normal time to post the job and interview candidates like the normal process. No one turned OS into the TSSAA, when you go to the state tournament, all of the teams competing, get a once over, just to make sure everything is in place, during this procedure, it was found that the proper paper had not been filed. It was a honest mistake, and as I've stated before, under the circumstances, one that is understandable.

Oliver Springs defeated Oneida 21-3 last night.

First off, I'm an Oliver Springs fan, and it would not upset me one bit if this information was posted on CoachT. If memory serves me correct, I think Coach Wright was the athletic director at OS, before leaving for Roane State, he may or may not have known about the TSSAA requirements, regarding what type of requirements that had to be met, for Coach C to take over. This was just an innocent oversight by someone at the school, and given the circumstances of finding a coach at such short notice, its understandable. It's nothing OS has to be ashamed of, chalk it up as a lesson learned, and move on. Maybe your concern is, that if posted, it will warrant negative post from the OZ haters. Your probably right about that, but, to those of us who know the girls and Coach C, and even the admin folks at OS, we know what a great bunch of folks these are, and if someone chooses to post a negative comment about any of them, its just out of plain ignorance!!!

Finally a post that states the facts about teams moving from one classification to another. Too many times, this action is viewed as a way to gain some kind of advantage for that schools team or teams. This is just not the case, schools have every right to play in the classification that the TSSAA assigns them to, and if they wish to play up a classification, they can petition the TSSAA to do so! Good Post!
