This is extremely sad news...although I didn't get to spend a ton of time with him, Coach Morgan was always a great guy to me. He was an inspiration for us last season and fought this disease bravely...may God be with his family during this tough time

I can't wait to see how the Govs look this season. Sevier County has always been a fun opening game and it's usually been pretty close. The Smoky Bears were improved last season, but I'm not sure how young that team was. If they bring a lot back they could be a dangerous team this year. Hopefully WB has had time to get the hang of the new coach and system...I guess we'll see soon! I hope the players are as ready for the season to get here as I am

WB did well...had the usual second scrimmage miscues such as turnovers and a couple of penalties...it was a pretty good showing overall though...the final score was WB- 35 and Mo-Town- 14

The four-way scrimmage begins tomorrow at 9 AM, at Cleveland High School. Should be a good one, with Baylor, Cleveland, Polk County, and WB playing.

The Jamboree is at Alcoa this year...August 17th at 7:00 Here is the schedule: WBHS vs. Gatlinburg-Pittman Heritage vs. Greenback Maryville vs. Sevier Co. Alcoa vs. Seymour Alcoa vs. Pigeon Forge

Thanks to everyone for the kind words The latest I have heard on the scrimmage at Cleveland is that last year's was at 9 in the morning...if it has changed for this season, I will let you guys know

Right now...it is TBA on our schedule... I will check and get an answer for you tomorrow!

We have a four-way scrimmage at Cleveland with Cleveland, Baylor, Polk Co., and us on Saturday August 4th. We then scrimmage at Morristown West (as of now...it will be at West if they get their field-turf installed on schedule) on Friday August 10th. The Blount County Jamboree will be August 17th at Alcoa and the Friday after that...we begin our season on the road at Sevier Co.

How is Sevier County looking for the upcoming season? They were very strong last year...I look for them to challenge for the Region again this season
