Upperman has some of the worst sportmanship in the upper cumberland. their fans, players, coaches, especially that fat assistant coach. they have always had good athletes, but love to see them lose cuz the way they act.

Gonna be a long year. we will lose to dekalb on tuesday. losing to 2 AA schools should not be acceptable.

Wear those white pants. they will get mighty dirty getting tackled and knocked down on a wet field. dekalb is having great practices this week and will win on the road.

Dekalb is better than they have been since the mid 80's. but region is not as good as it has been since the last realignment. I am not sure poteete is a D1 player. but he is a winner and makes players around him better. if MC can put pressure on him and make him hurry or try and scramble they have boys that are just as fast and shifty as he is. should be a good game. neither has won a playoff game with these players. so nerves could come into play.

If WC doesn't beat Dekalb it will be a long season. DC always thinks it has its best team and "wins" scrimmages. We beat them last year and will take it to them again this year. We have got a lot of young meat heads that will put a hit on that qb.

Dekalb knows how Station Camp plays and with this extra practice time they will stop them. Dekalb is goin all out in this one. SC will overlook them because of earlier game and will get beat!

No way Livingston loses to DCA. And Dekalb can-will beat Station Camp. Upperman can't win a district tourney game at home pitiful! will get plowed by White House. Smith County is not a good basketball team, until this past week.

Dekalb softball team almost all ways goes to the Region as the one or two seed. The baseball team does too. They have won the district 2 of the last three years. I can't say much about football or girls basketball but the whole sports program has not bottomed out.

And the number 5 seed in 7AA Dekalb swept Warren County in 7AAA. HA AH

I think that if I was another coach in 7AA I would rather have to play Smith than Cannon.You should beat both but Cannon is more dangerous.

This Cookeville assocaition of Refs have elephant memories and rabbit ears. They like to laugh about how they T up a coach or player and when they eject a coach. I use to ref basketball and this is a good ole boy group that like to compare their stories of chuckin coaches. Very unprofessional group as a whole. Some actually try and do a quality job but for most just a paycheck and a power trip.

In this politically correct time we are living in this is part of the reason this generation of players are so soft and lazy. When a coach chews a player out and then the players goes home and hears don't worry son that mean coach doesn't know anything you did good. The respect for coaching and working harder to correct the problem and be a better player goes out the window. JMO

The Lady Tigers have not been competitive since the early 90's. They were underachievers with Corder, Foster, Harrison, and now Tobitt. However, the talent, effort, and desire has also dwindled since then. Blame the coaches, players, and parents-who think their kid is better than they really are. I don't think the current coach was ready to take on a high school team-especially in this district, but these players are not on the same talent level as the other teams. Right now Herman is the only player that could play for any other team in the district and I don't know how much of a role she would have. Harrison was not the answer either. Ask Cumberland County. It is easy to blame the coach and it was a bad hire, but who else wanted this job? It is coaching suicide. The administration does not care about sports-From the Superintendent to the board members, to principal none of them played sports or really back it. So going out and hiring someone qualified is going to be difficult. Softball, baseball, and boys basketball is the only things Dekalb has to take pride in. Bond, Odom, and Martin should get much more credit for their teams.

Better win tonight-district will get much tougher.

WC will get beat tonight in Smithville. They played terrible against Woodbury and laid down. Dekalb is better than woodbury so it could be another bad loss against a smaller school.

I played on the last winning season dekalb had and I am embrassed by the whole situation
