  1. Station Camp won by a goal, 1-0....Livingston had to play with 10 players because they had a player get a red card. Hard to win a game with 10.
  2. Who cares. This season is not even over.
  3. Livingston Academy won defeated Cookeville Highschool today 3-0. It was definitely an upset considering Cookeville is a class up.
  4. 1. CAK 2. Lenoir City 3. FRA 4. Hume Fogg 5. Westview 6. CSAS 7. Grace 8. Livingston Academy 9. Columbia 10. CCS For some reason I noticed that Livingston ACademy was left out. They played Hume Fogg las tyear in the sub-state and lost 1-0. They are a stronger team than last year, still not sure about some of these other teams that were put in the top 10....only the season can decide though.
  5. Livingston will beat Station camp next week, they did last year, and livingston is a stronger and all around better team this year. That beat AAA Cookeville Highschool today by a score of 3-0.....Livingston is an A-AA school, so they are doing great so far this season.
  6. I think they play thursday for friday versus Cookeville?
  7. Dekalb will never compete with Livingston in soccer......and to UT Vols...Livingston is not as big of a city as Nashville...so it's only commen sense that you would have more talent to chose from. What highschool do you play for? Station Camp? Livingston beat you all last season, and lost in the sectionals by a goal.
  8. Livingston lost to Warren County 3-2....they have a tough schedule this season, but will sweep the district as usual.
  9. Hold up....it does not get much crazier when you play Jackson County @ Jackson County...the whole town is squeezed into the gym and their fans are crazy...they always have good support for their teams. Hogeye.
  10. Smith County shut down Livingston Academy twice...Smith County shut down Portland twice....Smith County will shutdown Fulton....Smith County will be in the state..... you can't stop em.....they have showed they can pass....and we know they can run....Dyer's too big.....HOGEYE
  11. Stifler, you got served. Go Cats.
  12. Should be a real close game, cats are a tough team this year, strong backfield, o-line is doing well this season. Livingston is a well rounded team, quick QB, strong fullback, who hits hard, and runs over people, and the tailback, not only does the 3 in the back play great offense, they play great defense, JVaugn is the leading tackler on the team, and Colson lays hits on everyone, I missed the last trousdale game, but I know it will be a good one. Another thing that I do know is that past state championships or runner ups don't indicate how the game Friday night will go, Livingston has a lot to prove, Go Cats. HOGEYE

    Bearden

Maybe get your mens soccer team to play football, 2 former players are kicking for UT.
  14. I refed some summer camp games at Tn tech and reffed for Upperman, Livingston and Smith County. Livingston is going to be quick this year, they looked good, and have 2 great coaches; Smith County has has a good coach, he's intense, and puts a lot of pressure on the opposing teams with press and overal intensity, they had some good athletes, and Upperman looked pretty good too. I think Smith County might surprise some people, but......it will still come down to LA and Jackson County, Smith might sneak in there though....hogeye
  15. It ashamed that Livingston, Portland, Smith County and Trousdale are all in the same region, it has always been the toughest region in the state, Greenbriar and Whitehouse were also apart of it about 5 or 6 years ago. Some of these other regions send weaker teams, when this region has 4 of the top teams in the state. Hogeye
  16. If Colson has a choice, he will play hurt I'm sure, he can't be stopped, hopefully he will be back for playoffs, he should relax for the next 2 weeks vs. Dekalb and Upperman. Those games wont be handed to LA, but.....Colson should just relax and get ready for post-season, cause he can't be stopped, yeah yeah. Hogeye
  17. Yeah yeah, Livingston defeated Portland last night in a great highschool matchup. I have no idea why this was not featured as a game of the weak. Livingston was #4 while Portland was #3 I think? SO what a game, fg to send the game to overtime, Portland kicker missed a 40 yard field goal later to win the game, fell way short and landed in the endzone. Overtime, the defense played huge, I think Vaughn had 2 or 3 tackles in the overtime series on defense...then Cates with a great run to close the game. The best game I have seen played at Livingston Academy. Great coaching staff, several collegiate athletes, as well as 2 former Professional quarterbacks....and a great team...lead by Cats at QB, Colson at FB, and Vaugn at TB, but don't forget about the Oline...and the secondary where Pucket had some huge stops....great game Cats.... Congrats to Jamie Vaughn on his record breaking season, he's an athlete. Colson, you can't say enough abuot him, never quits, had some huge blocks, runs, and tackles. Vaughn also had some huge stops, not only can he run the ball, but he can also play defense. Big stop by Pucket when Portland was inside the 20 before halftime, the o-line played well, just need to work out something to give Puckett mroe time to kick the ball......Keep working hard LA, and you wont be stoped!
  18. Hogeye GO. Cats win, easily.
  19. Livingston Academy has had 2, Danny McCoin who is currently coaching basketball and helping with football played for the Detroit Lions, was injured bad in pre-season with a neck injury, and had to retire. He played quarterback at the University of Cincinatti, and still has a lot of records, and if he is not first, he is 2 or 3. Grant Swallows played his collegiate career at Tennessee Tech where he holds all of the passing records, he played in Germany for a brief period, but I think returned home becuae of an injury to his throwing hand. They are both great quarterbacks, and the best that has ever came out of Livingston.

    Macon vs LA

Hey, all I remember about the Macon County and LIvingston Academy game is back last spring when a so called "Macon County" fan called, "Tennis Guy" was bashing LA and saying how bad we were going to get beat, well Tennis GUy, you got served! Go cats, hogeye
  21. Well, I would think that if you are a quarterback in the NFL, that you are able coach at the highschoo level with ease, you don't have to be a collegiate or professional to coach, I was just responding back to when they said that Livingston did not have as good of coaching staff, because they match up w/ any team in the state with coaches,
  22. Someone said earlier, possibly about 136 posts back, the Smith County had a better coaching staff, that is hard to believe. Livingston Academy has two former professional quarterbacks on their coaching staff, 1 QB has all of the Records at Tennessee Tech, while the other coach has a lot of the passig records at the University of Cincinati, sounds to me like they have agreat coaching staff, a long with Coach Eldridge, and Bruce Lamb, who als played collegiate ball at TN Tech. This game will be close, but it's hard to predict, because anyone can win on any given night, it just depends on who shows up to play, Livingston 17, Smith 14, Puckett with a fg to win the game!
  23. AMEN" Ya heard, what up 02 "Wildcat" Hogeye,
