  1. That is twice you said “that is all I saying”. I guess that must have a different meaning than “what it means”….
  2. I wonder if Lake County ever recruited? Na, Whitby would never do that.
  3. Actually, I am retired from the City of Dyersburg, after 36 years service in public safety, and 20 in he military. This idiot is very happy, sitting at home, drawing 3 checks. Thank you for contributing to my retirement.
  4. Yes, he was associated with the Dyersburg program before Dyer County. However, I would not use the term “recruited”. Coffman tried to get him employed and could not. Dyer County employed him.
  5. I still must have some pretty good police skills after 30 years, as I just lead you into admitting your bias against Dyersburg and Dyer County. LOL, if all you can do is throw insults, well that is an admission as well……..lol
  6. Recruiting is one thing, but some of those kids you speak of came to Dyersburg/Dyer County for a better education. Sure that the same can be said of others in rural areas. And, for some, education is not #1, and recruiting is a problem.
  7. Trenton put themselves into the corner by not taking a COVID win against Lake Cnty. Saying they want the region championship to be played on the field will mean nothing if they have a COVID situation and they have to cancel the Lake Cnty game. Sure that the fine people up in Lake County will do what every other team has done, and take that COVID victory.
  8. If anything, the Munford game, if you watched it, tells a much different story than what you or the score would suggest……It was a game of halves. Munford stacked the box with 8 plus, all night. In the first half, Dyersburg consistently ran the tailback, with no luck, and did not pass the ball. They only scored 7 points, and gave up 17. Dyersburg turned the ball over several times, and the defense was non existent. In the second half, Dyersburg switched to running the fullback, again against a stacked box, and nobody could stop him. Dyersburg scored 20 in the second half and gave up 7. Lake County, as bad as they are this year, would have won that first half. If anything, this game showed me that Darius Harris is the BEAST, when it comes to fullbacks in West Tn. He averaged about 8 yards per carry, and after carry the ball several times, Munfords 8 man box was tired of getting hit.
  9. Y’all come on down to Dyersburg…..we can call it Big River Battle
  10. Sonny Moore has inverted two teams and that has impacted 18 other teams in West Tennessee. Dyersburg and Dyer County ratings were inverted at the start of the season. That mistake has negatively impacted every team Dyersburg plays by giving them a lower strength of schedule rating. While the mistake has positively impacted all of the teams Dyer County has played by giving them a inflated strength of schedule. The ratings are fun, but one simple mistake has impacted a lot of teams with inaccurate ratings. This also explains why Massey and Cal Preps have a much different rating this year vs Sonny Moore.
  11. Why, they don’t play for several weeks?
  12. Horse is out of the barn, just can’t keep a secret…..
  13. Dyersburg's Darius Harris, who as a 8th grader, was already getting interest from college scouts. His size, speed, all of the recruiters boxes were being checked. He played some varisty as a freshmen. In his first game, as a sophomore, he had a serious injury, in what was called a "career ending injury". They just did not know Darius, or his father, Stacy. #42 is back.......no, that is not a lineman, he plays defensive end, TE, fullback, and has good speed for his size. A dump druck running downhill..... Here is a video highlight of a varsity game he played in as a freshmen. https://www.unapproved website.com/athlete/darius-harris/cLC_Jp1tEeiAxKkkK9HIDg/videos.htm?videoid=53948b62-696c-4d8c-9495-453b7522a27c Here is the Darious Harris Story, from career ending injury, a cannot and will not give up attitude, and his return for his senior season. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KHo0OGHFCNHSmQw4DujC1VIL06NWGJek/view?fbclid=IwAR3po-s3p_2tw-SmNBHcwAaUQ5_cF8W11e5CSsFRbH6jqoEJYtbaJBS97LU
  14. So glad to get Darius Harris (Senior) back for his senior season. Below are some highlights of his freshmen year. He was seriously injuried in his first game as a sophomore, and it has taken 2 years to get him healed and rehabbed. Darius is a BEAST! https://www.unapproved website.com/athlete/darius-harris/cLC_Jp1tEeiAxKkkK9HIDg/videos.htm?videoid=53948b62-696c-4d8c-9495-453b7522a27c
  15. And lets not forget the One Community Worship Wednesday night, for Dyersburg/Dyer County students before the big game Friday.
  16. Will be a packed house, and should be a good game.
  17. Here is my pre-season top 10 1. Alcoa 2. Covingtom 3. Loudon 4. Dyersburg 5. Gatlinburg Pitman 6. Waverly 7. Pigeon Forge 8. East Nashville 9. Fairview 10. Stewart
  18. Union City definitely “bounced back”; all the way back to Union City..... 49-7 in the 4th, with 3 touchdowns called back. I guess Dyersburg is a little better than their record shows.
  19. King Saul thought that Goliath was too big for David to fight. David thought Goliath was too big to miss.
  20. Glad to see Dyersburg senior Sean Harris and sophomore running back Darrius Harris make Murphy Fair pre season 4A all state team. A lot of people said last year don’t be surprised if you see Dyersburg’s Chris Russell play in the SEC, and sure enough he signs with Texas A&M. I don’t think either of these Harris kids will be overlooked....Darrius, a speedy sophomore running back, stands at 6’1 250lbs Interesting article in local paper, says Dburg will face 11 of the 24 players listed on the pre-season selection..... https://www.stategazette.com/story/2622132.html
  21. Well, guess can’t keep a secret for long......
  22. Yes, old stadium built in 1970, renovated in the last few years along with the high school.
  23. Davion Henderson, who was the “stud” and starting running back in the stable, went out after the Haywood game. Since that loss, Dyersburg lost two other running backs.
  24. If Springfield and Dyersburg are fortunate to meet, you will not have to worry about field conditions as the University of Dyersburg football field is a great venue, along with great tailgating locations with views into the stadium. https://goo.gl/images/Dr8iPJ
  25. I hope Springfield wins, and I hope my team Dyersburg wins so we can meet in the semi finals. However, that will be a difficult challenge for both Springfield and Dyersburg to get to the semis. Dyersburg is down three starting running backs and is facing a very good Haywood team that we dominated when we were healthy. Haywood is battle tested as their loses have come to top ranked teams. Springfield last year found ways to win in the playoffs, and they will have to repeat that on the road against a pretty good Northside team, who too is battle tested as several of their loses came from top ranked teams. Good luck Jackets.....I hope we can meet in the semis.......
