Judging by the results, the wrestling seems to have improved from prior years. Not nearly as many pins in the finals as I recall. Still some, but not the majority. If you are good enough to make the region finals you shouldnt be getting pinned. Congrats to Tennessee High! I know a lot of hard work has gone into that accomplishment....Good Luck to all next week

I was not forming an opinion on the format just curious as to the impact of the change.....I like the double elimination just like everyone else....Thank you for taking the time to figure it up...

I am curious how many wrestlers when onto medal who would have otherwise been eliminated with the old format?????????? My guess would be less than a handful. Great tourney thus far.

Only one thing to make it even more perfect.... could we get those oriential guys from Cool Springs Mall to come and do massages??? Also, Dude; "Oriental" is not the preferred nomenclature. I regret calling this thread boring earlier in the year. This is hilarious. I will say as a first year official and a former wrestler. It is tough. Give these guys a break. Not like anyone tries to blow calls.....if the assigning officer doesn't have anyone else to choose from then he has to assign the available officials to make the tourney happen......Like some others suggested go get certified and do it yourself....See you guys at State....well at least Saturday.....hope to see some Region 1 guys in action for the medal rounds! p.s. thats a shame...after watchin that video i saw nothing that warranted even one point...typically that has to be a blatant obvious attempt to grasp the headgear.....at best that was incidental.......what a shame for both guys....
