oooooh!!!!!!!!! they are my favorite college band they are amazing!! i want to be a marching southerner soooo bad but the actual college part keeps me from being able to go there cause they dont ahve my major and its out of state... poo. i suppose ill just watch from afar

so at Hendersonville this weekend tullahoma took first overall we plaved 2nd in class C ill get the program that my mom filled out and put standing up just for a reference point

yup richard is kinda the bomb and we also have 2 guy who are in pit, tony and damarko who also play football

all the hating on the band makes me unhappy.... see we are there cause we have to be. most of us enjoy the games and have a blast in the stands, but its the last thing the directors want to do. the thing is, is that, at least at my school, the coaches like having us at games. they have told us it gives the game a better atmospohere and that it makes the ppl in the stands wake up a bit more. when we dont go to games we get crap from students, non-band parents, players, and cheerleaders. so apparently someone likes having us there. and just FYI i feel sorry for any of you that have to listen to rocky top as a pep tune. and for those tired of crappy shows i appoligize too... trust me our shows are alwyas very interesting and involved, not that you all care or anything. ok im done ill go back to me band section of this board.

oooooooooooh a fellow DCI fan!!!! are you talking about Dream??? im pretty sure they do some pretty out there shows... sounds like them to me. so your a devils fan eh? coolness. i have a few friends who marched DCI this year. a snare with the Bluecoats, a flag with Spirit, a rifle and a tuba/contra with the cavaliers. i think bluecoats are my favorite cause they are the underdog corps that has come out of nowhere in the past 2 years.

we have a name for the show now... its called Jazz Train!

ok for all you nonband kids who must make fun band trash talk usually is something like this wow their marching is awful dang look at all those drops ack! do you hear that intunation dang tempo is pathetic they are like a slinky wow they sounds like there are 5 of them i swear they must pay the judges off do you think they know thier music ok so some of these big words may be over your head but whatever... ok then there is band rivalry trash talk... that can get bad! but in general we all respect each other enough to not trash too much... band kids in general arent soooo super competetive that we cant be nice to our opponents.... NOT that im saying were not competitive cause we can turn into snakes if practices before comps are going bad

coah ferg lets the guys do the halloween game on the field in uniforms but all the other games they are in the locker room with the rest of thier team

oooi loved that show... the boxes with the band names were cool. there were soem things the guard did i thought were a little hokey but good show all in all!!! as for the one show all year that is what we do. see we take these shows to competitions and they judge us on them. if we changed the show all the time we would never have time to perfect it. therefore we keep the same show. college bands on the other hand do change shows all the time... most college bands change shows ever 2 games or so, some bands change every game

i was there for both of those. wow that was funny.... and planned in my algebra 2 class the day we had a sub.

we went to the comp at austin peay a few years ago and i loved it!. they did a performance for us and it was really cool! i love college bands... as long as there not show style bands.

freshman camp started today for Oakland. we have another freshman camp day tomorrow then a day of full band precamp then real camp starts the last 2 days of this week. we then have the entire week after that.

we have a guy and maybe 2 that do it. they are much cooler than whoever said it made them losers. its a LOT of work to go from football practice to band practice 2 days a week. with football games and a marching show on friday nights then a comp saturday morning. dont diss them!

not a band kid ok gotcha!! thanks for the input on the froum though! as for the jazz band wow it was a rough night. im not sire what was up with them. they had a concert the night before and they sounded 100 times better. i think they must have a party that night and played wayyy to much xbox. as for the marching show i hope it rocks!!!! the music is really awesome and i think that this is going to be agreat season!!! band starts in exactly a week so i suppose well know soon enough how its goning to be!!!
