That is true. The O-Line is gone. But the Coaches seem to think it will be just as good if not better this year. I would think so since last year's line was still used to the I. These guys have been in this system for a season so I am sure they are more used to it. Darby may not be as quick as McFall but he has cut his 40 down a lot. No matter who gets the position, JC will be solid under center.

Okay, Darby is better than ever. He has put a lot of muscle on and is definitely one of the strongest guys on the team. His knee is stronger than before and he has gained a lot of speed. He proved it at a combine a few weeks ago. He also played corner last year just to correct that. The quarterback position is up for grabs. It looks to be down to Mcfall and Darby. Whoever does the best in preseason gets the spot. I have no doubt in Christian's capabilities and he will have no problem at qb if he is the man who gets it. As far as rb goes, there are a few more guys who have came in at rb but right now it looks to be Will Brooks at B back and Travis Tolliver at A back. I am really excited and anxious about this season. The team as a whole has gotten so much stronger and faster. Things are lookin good for Jeff. Co. football.

How many were at workouts this morning?

Farragut also scrimmages Jeff. Co. in August.

Has the combine already taken place. I thought it was in June.

The Knox West scrimmage was canceled. It has been moved to Monday, Feb. 4.

Who were the best in Region 1 this year?

The Jefferson County freshman squad is awesome this year. With a new coaching staff, this team is completely the opposite of the teams the past couple of years. Coach Wood and Coach Miller have done a great job. Keep up the great work. The future is looking very bright.

The Junction Boys is a classic. I am surprised it hasnt been mentioned that much. But I would have to say that Friday Night Lights and Remember the Titans are my favorites. We Are Marshall is a good one too.

A couple of these guys were gone on vacation.

Camp starts July 23. Instead of staying overnight, we will be going from 8-2 for 5 days. Then, our first day in pads is July 30. The key players are attending the workouts.

Christian McFall of Jeff. Co. will be a standout at runningback. He was last season's Prep Extra Sophomore of the Year.

Not positive but I would say that Zack will be there. From everything that I have heard, Sherrod won't be playing fb this year. I haven't heard anything about Stepp. I doubt he'll play either. I really wish they both would play though.

Johnathan Yeary of Jeff. Co. is definately one of the best.

Nick Grindstaff had a great hit early in the scrimmage. I thought for sure that he had broke the kid's leg.
