I'm sorry, but unless you are a diehard fan, this game is not that interesting. I will go with Lavergne because of overall records. Best game of the night is about 10 miles down the road, and 2nd best is probably 10 miles up the road at Antioch.

I have heard that a lot of teams will not be at the Grand Championships. Many of the coaches, from what I heard were not happy with how it was run last year, and will not be there, including some Williamson Co. schools. I think the 2nd year in will be a lot better, but some teams have decided to go elsewhere. Sorry they will miss out

A lot of fireworks during regions. My question is did Grant Jones get ejected???? He wasn't there for medal ceremony. Want to congratulate the Hillwood 145 and Antioch 195 for making state!!! Both were unseeded wrestlers.

Tommy Venuti at 195 didn't make it out of regionals. He was pinned twice, losing the second to an unseeded wrestler.

Dylan Wright did live in Antioch, although he had an address in Franklin.

What"s wrong with this? #1-Antioch is in District 12. #2-Don't leave out Glencliff, who so far is in, and in Quad 3 as well. I don't think Clarksville will be in this quad.

Most teams have a couple of games in, seeing improvement in some teams, like Glencliff & Stratford, but still. Watched Antioch take a woodshed beating against Station Camp. Heard McGavock got taken behind that same shed, as well as Cane Ridge, Maplewood, Pearl-Cohn, and Hunters Lane. Glencliff, Hillwood, Hillsboro, & Overton congrats on the wins. Although Glencliff and Hillwood played extremely weak teams. Its been a while since Metro was not taken as a joke. Its a shame that most schools out of the county have some of these schools circled, or are have them for homecoming.

This was a no brainer. At least Cane Ridge scored. Horrible

Watching the Ravens v. Pearl-Cohn last week, I was rather surprised at the lack of football being played by this team. I am not a fan of the coach, and he has had these players in his system for 4 years. PC could have easily put up 50 on Cane Ridge. They got whipped up and down the field. Can't blame the players on this one. Coaching,coaching,coaching.........

You are actually giving Antioch 10 pts. They didn't score against LaVergne, and have no kicking game. If they score it will be a miracle. Station Camp posts a shutout.

Wondering on the take of Metro this year. Doesn't seem to be any good teams out there from what I'm hearing. Antioch-new offense, could be playoff team due to weak schedule and drop to 5a. Heard they have some transfers that could help. Cane Ridge-the Abner experiment continues, best player is in Smyrna, lost some kids to Antioch, I predict maybe 2 wins East Lit- Wilson doing a good job with the resources available. Should contend for a playoff spot. Glencliff- Really Hillsboro- haven't heard much on the Burros, should be better as they grow into the coach's system Hillwood- See Glencliff Hunters Lane-New coach,still will not do much, better luck next year. Maplewood-Best metro team hands down, will once again compete for state championship McGavock-loss a number of players but will contend for a playoff spot Overton-Always a good team under Anderson. Will probably be District champ Pearl-Cohn-tends to have a good team every year Stratford-not very good Whites Creek-see Stratford

Why the change in date? I know Antioch is having their preseason on November 19th as well with hydration.

HaaaaaaaaHaaaaaaHaaaaaa. They don't even have a decent coach. Nashville area, if not private schools, Willamson County schools are doing very well. If in Nashville, your best bets for education & wrestling are slim. Metro schools are going downhill, you have your magnet schools MLK & Hume-Fogg(MLK with the better program), then Overton & Antioch(best public programs with McGavock). E. Lit is a Paideia school format, decent small school team. After that your choices are slim.

Good luck using Stratford. Metro-Nashville Schools are all about not promoting wrestling. If you can pull this off, it may open the doors for a return of Metro wrrestling. Good luck again.

Mr. Hardcr, you will be upset with my comments, but that certain 130 match you are referring to, Mr. Maxwell pinned himself several times. Luckily the refs did not call it, keeping the match going. Thank the refs for that. Yes calls were inconsistent, but we get what we get.

Who is Antioch's 140? Whoever he is, is nowhere near any of the 140's in this region. That weight class is stacked, and all that make state may have a chance to medal @ state. I see the Williamson Co. trifecta as the top 3 teams. Ravenwood, Franklin, Indy. Then its a crapshoot. I agree with the DCal person, Antioch could finish as high as 4th with 6-7 making state, or Overton, or Brentwood, or Centennial. @ most with Overton, I see their 103, 125, 189, and HWT making state. Antioch could, and I say could, have 103,119,125,130,160,189 make state. Centennial counters with 103,119,125,140,171. This should be interesting. Finalist will be known on Friday night, like in the old days. The best wrestling will be on Saturday. Good luck to all the teams.

Seems like an Antioch kid is trying to pump up a few individuals. From what I've seen these are the best of the team. Caldwell @ the 189 is a legit choice to make state. But I heard he left the match after losing to Overton again. Is he still on the team? Greer may have a tough route at 125 and the 160 thats dropping might make it. Why is he dropping, is he scared of 160? Hmmmm. As WG put it, this region is stacked, and getting to state is tough.

Ok Mr. Overton guy, quit pumping up these guys. The best of the bunch is Chadwick, if he can make weight. If he is at 119, Whitworth is not one of the better 125's, he's not one of the better 119's either. Sorry! Who is Austin Dearing, nope, what else does Overton have after that.
