That's kind of a slap in the face to all the punters. Zach Sharp is listed as the Kicker/Punter and he deserves to represent the East as Kicker, but if I'm not mistaken, there was a wide reciever doing the punting for the East. #11 maybe ?
Murphy's Facebook status said it was to go to the printer this past Monday and he should have them in hand next week. Also, he said those that ordered copies should have them by the end of this month. Hopefully that means the outlets that sell them will have them within the next 2 weeks.
Region 4-AAA games at Shelbyville show Oakland vs Columbia @ 6pm and Lawrence Co vs Siegel @ 7:45 pm. These game times were announced as being reversed, Lawrence Co vs Siegel @ 6pm and Oakland vs Columbia @ 7:45. Can you please verify this ? Thanks.
Anybody else get a yellow screen when you try to access the STATS on this site ? Also, unapproved website has a really nice stats site, mostly on a national and state level. Does anyone know of a site to get stats from prior years ?
I hope the weather doesn't keep the fans at home. As big a game as this is for all 4 teams (boys and girls), it would be a shame to have anything less than a capacity crowd at Ralph Benson Memorial tonight. If either or both games are as close as the first boys game in Columbia, they could charge twice the price for admission and it would still be a bargain.
It really should have been a 10 point LC victory had it not been for the late flag for ineligible receiver downfield. But what the heck, we could go on and on. Both teams played thier hearts and and both deserved to win.
My guess would be, a late, late, late flag for inelligible receiver down field that nullified a LC touchdown that would have put LC up by 10 with about 3 min to go in the game, but that's just a guess.
Is there some sort of guideline or outline in the TSSAA that makes provisions for Region Championships or Nashville City Championships or any Championship regarding Freshmen Football? It's really odd because I have yet to find any source that tracks the Freshmen Football Season, other than this particular thread on coacht.com.
