There have been several west tn. teams that have made turnarounds recently.
I think now that Hickman County is playing at the 2A level that program under Swenson can look forward to some very good seasons. I think that program is showing a hunger for winning.
East Hickman has no history but should be able to compete in a few years in the new region. It appears to have great facilities.
Harpeth could begin to make headway now that they are out of the private school region. That program (Admin, coaches, parents, players, community) needs to decide if they are serious about competing in football. The basketball programs and baseball programs seem to have been successful. There is no reason that the football program cannot do the same. It was a tough place to go play for a long time.
Mt. Pleasant and Giles county have turned once terrible programs around.
