Hey Doug, this is Officer Luna (thats what i figure you would know me as). Coach Micheals said to me that Roland is looking good and a few of the players were waiting to rotate in the scrimmage saw Roland run and trucked some player... The players were talking about him and one kid said something like "that dude is the best back out hear i sure dont want to square up with him on the field". It was something stated like that. He said all the kids are getting along really good and are just a bunch of good kids. To bad there isnt a West vs East/Middle Allstar game.. I think it would be something the entire state would want to see.

I think Mus is still a top 3 team on that poll... OB also.. I dont see CBHS beating them this yr either.

i watched the munford hardin county game video yesterday and munford looked way down.. I do not feel they will have a prayer against Millington. Munford mostly ran the ball and didnt do much. If i remember correctly Munfords QB didnt throw much and didnt seem like a threat... Millington 50s Munford (Maybe 7)We will have our younger kids in buy the midle of the 3rd quarter so munford may very well get a score.

I got to watch a few Wooddale game films and i feel that Millington will be able to play with them. I was really impressed with the Southwind/wooddale game. Southwind looked to give Wooddale all they could handle even though they lost. Southwind's QB looked good in that game along with the receivers making some good catches.

Rockhead ....#3 was at school today and seemed to walking ok. I'm sure he is very sore. Hopefully he will be playing.

The game is going to be played at Millington this Friday. Just heard from coach Hawkins....

Can someone tell me how to understand the strength and success ratings... It has rated after cordova?? Our schedule and everything else seemed to be heck of alot better than them.. i must be missing something. I hear possibly Millington will be bringing up a stud rb from the 9th grade team at the end of there season who is similar to T Holmes... I got to watch this kid against Houston the other night which he looks very promising for Millingtons future..

Hey Owlbooster ... was Brunetti hurt tonight or did they pull him due to the score? i heard at 41-17 Brunetti was out? At that point did MUS put in there 2nd string or what? How did WS score and so on... Just curious.

I guess everyone is underestimating Millington due to the big losses from the 3 good teams... Well tonight Millington handled Cordova. I now feel more comfortable with the rest of the games left. We are slower but have some good backs stepping up #36 and 31. Good new about Millington QB's injury was minor and should be returning soon.

Just to let you guys know... My 7yr old daughter and 11yr old both caught the Swine Flu 2 weeks ago.. it lasted pretty much (The Symptoms aching, fever,vomiting...) 3 days after that they both felt good no more fever..... Both were Tested for it after having a 103 temp and were prescribed Tamiflu. My brothers 5yr just got over it a few days ago... Pretty much is like the regular flu.. just worse on the people with medical problems and week immune systems..

I watched the cordova/craigmont tape today... I dont think Millington will have a problem moving the ball just by running. I will bet this week Either Mario Harwell will be taking alot of snaps and throwing our routes in practice.. If not him someone will have to step up. Again nothing against Cordova but my opinion of the game i watched didnt give me any worries. I could be eatting some crows feet but this is football anything can happen.

MUS 41 WSHS 14 (considering the CBHS Game) Arlington 24 Bolton 14 (Toss up in my opinion) Millington 28 Cordova 14 (After watching the CBHS/Millington film Millington did great before Hunter (QB) was Hurt score doesnt tell the tale Briarcrest 35 Craigmont 14 LOL.... All my losers have 14 points just noticed that.

I just watched the film of the East/OB game... East had numerous of chances to win the game. East threw several passes but the most effective pass was the short 10 to 15 yard passes. They didnt have much luck running the ball. Millington will have to pass more to be successful against OB. The very first play Millington ran (Bootleg??) during the MUS game could do alot of damage against OB or any team if mixed in the plays more often. OB throws and runs with alot of QB keepers for good yardage. Anyhow thats my 2cents. Oh ya if East had a kicker it might have been a win for east. Several chances to kick a field goal on 4th.

I was talking to one of the players today and he mentioned that they were going to have just a Defensive squad and offensive squad instead of people playing both ways. Any truth to this?

Well... I wouldnt be to sure of that.. They will lose a game or 2 here in the state.

Holmes impressed me more. Seemed the coach favored Hunter due to getting majority of the carries.

dont know if this was said.. but did anyone notice Franklins offensive line pretty much gave away if they were going to pass or run the ball? They would either get in the 3 point stance if they were going to run the ball or if they were going to pass they wouldnt get in the 3 point stance?

Well from what i have heard Whitestation finally found out how to use #1/23 B hayes kid.. He could make a big diff in the game as did against Millington. Whitestations d was pretty dang stout against millingtons ground game even though Millington should have won that game (still hurts my heart). Mistakes mistakes and more mistakes... Im pulling for Whitestation and i think they will pull it off... Whitestation 28 - 21....
