good choice. But yesterday Jones didn't know who would pitch due to bubba's arm being a little tender. One good thing is that J.J. is the #2 pitcher now.

Ben Lowery got the complete game victory for the Cats to run his record to 2-1. Lowery had 8 k's. Dugan was the starter and took the loss for Coffee. Vincent did not pitch in either game against Lawrence. A freshman relieved for Coffee and looks like he will be very tough. The Cats got the leadoff hitter on each of the first 4 innings. Jase Duke and Matt Hartsfield had 2 hits each for the Cats. Josh Purcell hit a double off the center field fence. There weren't any homers. Lawrence County runs their record to 10-5 and 3-3 in 8AAA.
