Too short? Yeah, tall goalies have advantages, but being short has a DEFINITE advantage.  The hardest thing for a goalie to do is get down on the ground.  I kno this from experience considering my brother is a remarkable goalie.  Short definitely CAN leave u lacking on some high shots, but if hes got ups. Does he?

Just what is considered too short?

Quickness, good hands, overall instincts and command of the field are far more important issues than just plain height! :P People get caught up way too much over height. I'll take a keeper at 5'10" with the above qualities over a 6'4" basketball player any day.

Good point. From playing against Carlos, he seems to be extremely vocal. Robby doesn't talk as much, but for a 6'4 basketball player, he is good. The best thing about Robby is that he can get down low like he was 5'10, but can obviously reach the corners. Jeremy Williams is good and should be the best keeper in the city next year. Chris Penn is also good, but has a few things to work at. Since he is only a sophmore, he should be the best here in 2 years in the Chattanooga area.

Robbie Miller is far from cocky. He's very quiet and unassuming if you ask me. Big, fast, and doesn't let goals in. I would bet that he has the smallest goals against average in the state. I know that he did up until last week. I would add to the list of "best goalies", Alex Crabtree from McCallie, I know he's the toughest. He got knocked out at the ND game and played the rest of the game and still ended up with a clean sheet from what I heard. Hixson goal keeper Josh Ralph may really be the best in the state. His goals against average is really great and you know that he has had lots of shots come at him. I wonder if anyone keeps stats on saves?
