biggest dissapointment to me was my Red Sox.

 

you left the biggest surprise off the list...the first place 4-2 Brewers.

 

biggest dissapointment for a player- Manny Ramirez not goin yard yet and battin about 200.

 

biggest surprise for a player- Mike Hampton for the Braves pitching like the 20 game winner he once was....and Smoltz striking out 15.

I really think it's very unfair to do this at this point. After a month? Sure, but not right now. Baseball's just too funny of a game to be able to say anything about it after a week, IMO.

i didnt say the Brewers would finish 1st (most likely will end up in 5th) or that Manny wouldnt hit a hr this year (he'll end with about 40), i was just tellin what i thought were the biggest surprises of the first week. i owe you an apology though.....the biggest surprise of the week was the Reds winning a game. just kiddin

The Cardinals were under .500 in May last season when I went to a couple of games. In fact, it was really late May when they caught fire. April is not really an indicator unless a team starts out 13-0 or something like that.

In fact, it was the Reds that were leading the division for most of May last year. Things really turned around in June last year when the Cards took three from the Reds in St. Louis. Things went downhill for one team and way uphill for the other.
