Anyone know how the nashville teams did in the Sub State i know the Thunder,Royals and The Blue devils where all up there so please post the results if you have them.

Not real sure..I know the Memphis Celtics played the Jordan All Stars(Memphis) in the Championship game.

there is no argument with that from me i have played and coached aganist many teams from memphis and i will give it you all your boys play hard the whole game no matter what and they are always well coached i just think that something should be done about playing in your closet sub-state if you think about it in the 14u div. there 5 out of the 8 teams will be from memphis. there is no doubt memphis plays the best ball in this state and one of the best in this country but i think you should have to come out of your own sub state if you dont make it then you should have to go to super regionals like the rest of us. but i guess you can argue that the rest of the state just needs to catch up to yall.

The sub-state argument you mention has some merit, I took my 14's to Lynchburg because of scheduling conflicts with our 15's, which I also coach. Our 15's finished 2nd in Dallas this past weekend. Because of jobs and people who coach more than one team I wouldn't want to be confined to an area for sub-state, I think you should be able to play in more than 1 sub-state, that's just my opinion, many 14's left Memphis this year out of respect/fear of Bellevue's 14's. At the same time I will tell you that the rest of the state has closed the gap on Memphis hoops.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
