Luck of the Irish?

Three of the top Five teams in DII are nicknamed the Fightin' Irish (Father Ryan, Notre Dame, and Knoxvill Catholic). Just an observation I thought I'd point out.

We'll see about that in a few days when the Southern Irish play the Real Irish in the last game of the regular season. It should be a good match.

Good point. We'll never agree, but very good point. At least our two schools acknowledge green as a prerequisite to "Irishness". I've never figured out how green could have been left out of a certain Nashville school's color scheme. Good luck with Baylor next week.

Don't worry mjuhb, I'm pretty sure after this week that the rankings will change and father ryan will go ahead. At least it should looking at how well they've done. They should end being at the top of both.

No luck involved, just good soccer teams. Some better than others.

There's more to ND's season than no "quality" wins. They weren't even scored on for most of the season and only McCallie has managed to do that. I agree, though, this past week should move Father Ryan to the top spot in both DII and the Redmond 11.
