soddy has as good a chance as anyone, but there are about 4-5 other teams that could win it. Depends on who gets hot at the right time.

Soddy, Riverdale, Beech and Brentwood can play with anybody. It is my opinion that one of these teams will win state. Good luck to all.

There will be some very good teams that get beat in the sectionals that could win the state too, but unfortunately the way the brackets are drawn, they wont get the chance to do it. With only 2 teams coming out of the middle tennessee area and 2 out of the chattanooga area, several good teams will be left out.

That's true, but I'd hate to see teams have to one-up each other for computer rankings and such, especially with some many rainouts some teams might have hard non-district games scheduled but never get to play them (or they play a team that has girls attending prom or whatever and the stats are all affected by it). The best team would likely win anyway, if you're third in your area of the state you're likely a longshot.
