Kingston at Gibbs

Rematches from last years regional. What are your thoughts..

Last year Kingston beat Gibbs (5-3) and Lenoir City beat Alcoa (3-0)..Lenoir City went on to win AA State.

 

 

My predictions: Gibbs over Kingston, Lenoir City over Alcoa...

I agree. Kingston won't get close, LC- Alcoa will be close. LC may struggle with Vaughn being slowed by an injury.

If Kingston plays a complete game then they have a chance, but they made too many mistakes late in the game both Thursday and Sunday.

Not to take anything away from LC becasue they have a good team and Vaughn is probably the best all around high school player I have seen, but Kingston did a good job of beating themselves Thursday and Sun. Way too many silly errors.

She got banged up a little, but that wont stop her from playing today!

Isham pitched one of her better games of the season tonight and went 2 for 3 at the plate the jackets lost by two unearned runs.

Good job Lady Jackets. You had a chance to win. Gibbs has a good team, and an excellent pitcher. I hate that the runs scored were on errors, but that has been the problem all year. Good job this season, you have made leaps and bounds since the beginning of the year. You are losing a great group of seniors but next year's team has the chance to be special. Just remember these last two losses in the off-season and work your butts off this summer to get better. Remember if you want to beat the best you have to practice like them.
