All 5 dec qualifiers bested 5600 meaning all 5 beat every other region.

Top 4 pent qualifiers bested 3100 meaning all 4 beat every other region.

Girls 3200-11:14 wins

Boys 3200-8:57 wins and 4 guys under 9:45

Boys vault -4 over 12'6"

Girls TJ-34'10" is 5th and does not qualify!

 

I could go on and on, but year in year out, this Region proves itself.

Where are the results? Are they posted anywhere? Nothing has appeared in the Tennessean. Of course, that is not unusual.

Im with you on DII being the strongest, and look for it to continue to be the strongest, there is a lot of youth out there getting points for their teams.

I agree that this region is very tough but region AAA west is just as competitive, if not, more. It has 4 or 5 dec. doing over 6,000 and 3 to 4 polevaulters doing 13'6 and above. I'm not sure about running but it's pretty loaded in the field.

Brentwood Academy wins the DII middle region over

MBA with a score of 262 to 201. The BA women

took first place as well by narrowly defeating

Harpeth Hall. On to state and hopefully a 3 peat

for the men to go with the men's basketball 3 peat

Harper pulled in another one tonight- easily. The team will lose Bumbalough but will return a strong nucleus with Tyree Ford, Ben Davies, Marty Ross, Clay Adams, Chris Vaughn and others, they may be able to pull off a 4-peat.
