Red Bank has some good hitting and pitching. At the right time, they are also playing good defense. Beech is a little one-dimensional.

Troglin is scattering hits... bending without breaking. Despite facing great pitching, Red Bank is also getting their hits. They have as solid a top 5 in the order as anyone, anywhere.

Good Luck to Red Bank!

This is why it is so hard to get out of District 5 and 6. For the past 3 years, the AAA state chapionship has been either District 5 or 6 or both. Red Bank, Soddy, and Cumberland. The road to the state goes through all 3.

Best wishes to the Lady Lions!

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
