The Georgia Elite looked strong and were still in the winners bracket when we were eliminated late Sat night. Playing 18 Gold.

Good showing in 18u, 29 teams --(22 in 18u and 7 in 18Gold), i had not realized there were 29 teams playing 18 under in this area.

There were 5 GPS players at State, (Pitcher, Catcher, Short Stop, Centerfield, 1st Base) and one from Soddy also (3rd base), all got in at 4:30am, at the ballfield on Saturday at 8:30am to play 4 games, all playing, and won all but one game Saturday (the latest one when they were literally falling over their own feet at 10pm against Xteme Edge), came back on Sunday morning and won all 3 games, with 3 back to bak to back shut outs to take it all.

 

The Chattanooga Eagles 16u took the championship and are headed to the ASA Nationals for the 4th straight year! GO EAGLES!!!!!!

How about 14U. Last I saw it looked like Nashville Cruisers and Philly's would be squaring off in the championship.

The Cruisers and the Fillys played a scrimmage game for the chamionship game because the Fillys did not want the berth if they won so the Nashville Cruisers are headed to ASA nationals!!
