That is is an easy pick, except Soddy may be second, and there may be a team or two from the left side of the state that could rise up and break into the top four.  Smyrna has never broke into the top ten (I'm adding: But should have in the past few years), but may have a chance in 2006, if they stay healthy and united as a team.

140 - Pher Dedmon Senior - 1 match away from qualifying for state

145 - Spencer Sommers Senior - Injured yet still one match away from state (also a previous region V runner up 2nd to Bond Davis)

152 - Adam Dedmon Senior - Injured unable to finish competition

189 - Robbie Helms Senior - 1 match away, suffered concussion and lost by ID

215 - Ben Wood Senior - Excellent wrestler, wrestled JV last season

HW - Adam Smotherman Senior - 1 match away from state in this his first year of wrestling.  Very solid heavyweight.  Not a roly - poly.

 

Not to mention the freshmen we are picking up along with some seasoned sophomores and juniors.

 

From initial counts, we will have 40+ guys on our team this year.
