USSSA State Tournament..Crossville July 8-10?

The ASA 18 A is July 8-10 in Nashville.

The ASA 16 A is  in Chattanooga.

The ASA 10 A & 12 A is in Knoxville.( I think I'm right)

Why would you want to play in the USSSA state.

U trip IMHO has a better tourney for the younger age groups than ASA...much more competitive...We've played NSA, ASA, NFSA and U trip and we much prefer U trip.

The Grorgetown Sliders are going to play in it. Just a place to play before we go to the World Series in Panama City next weekend

I don't like ASA because you can only bat 9 players.

Ton of younger teams there, and I agree that USSAA does a super job with the younger teams.

 

ASA this weekend 18-A .... 14 teams.

Don't know their exact placement, but they won 6 or 7 and lost 6 or 7. From what I was told they played 500 ball. Most of their loses were from teams from California

The championship game was between the Greenville Stars and a team called the Spirit. My beloved Sliders finished 3rd thanks to a coaching mistake. The Stars beat us both games, and had to win twice.
