Nope!  They said Sunday that Jamie had been signed to drive it already.  As far as him fitting in the #6 car, they're both midgets, so that shouldn't be a problem. :P

Just kdding, I like both of them.

McMurray doesn't start driving the #6 car until 2007 (which is 2 YEARS from now).

Rousch still does not have a guy to drive the Viagra Ford in '06 thumb

Just wish that some of these young drivers would learn from a guy like Mark instead of acting like Jimmy Spencer all the time.

Thank you! thumb

I would love to know where some of the drivers learned their manners when they were kids!

And, catfish-hunter, it's not 2 years away. Next year is '06, and that was the 1 more year I was talking about. To be totally correct about it, it's 1 1/3 years away. Is that better? Excuse Me!

I would enjoy seeing Mark in the car again next year, but I don't see it happening for a full season. Of course, he said on the radio as he crossed the line to win the Nextel All Star Challenge, that he would come back and run it again next season, if they gave him a ride to do it in. Somehow, I don't see that being a problem! ;)

Roush Racing owes their position in the sport to Mark Martin, Period!

I'm not getting mad. Where did you get that? I love Mark and have enjoyed watching him race for the past 20 yrs. or so. Back to when he was racing full time in the Busch Series. Did you hear this from someone associated with NASCAR, Roush Racing, or Mark Martin? If not, like I said, I don'tsee him coming back for the full schedule. He has alreeady stated for a couple of years now that he wanted to spend more time with Matt and help him make it to the next level.

    • “facts” or better yet ‘opinions’ had been up for weeks/months. that’s not why the thread was deleted. get over yourself.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
