Golden is a better athlete than anyone on Ryan's team, definately. No doubt Cory Stewart is a great player but Golden is a great playmaker. That said these teams are too evenly matched to really call a score. For every Aaron Bateman there is a Brian Sneed. For every Davis Dempsey there is a Jay Wilson or Courtney Coffey. I think JP2 has a good chance to win. We made alot of mistakes last week that I think will be corrected this week.

I've seen alot of players names thrown around, and don't get me wrong these guy are as solid as any, but the guys that are going to win this game for the Irish are Simmons, Owusu, JB, Schmitty, and Gentry. Our D line is our strength and if these gyus play like thier capible of it may be lights out, they can be dominant. Our front line and linebackers can be as good as any in the state if they can put four quarters together and avoid the costly mistakes. I just think that our size and depth will play a factor in the fourth quarter.

 

Another player to watch is Berry, the kid is explosive and can take it to the house in the blink of an eye. Can be a Golden type of player but he is still young.

 

Still can't predict a score, we are going to have to learn how to win before we can start predicting victories.

Of the many Irish fans who post here, only a few are good posters (Pride30, IRISHDOG, IrishDink). BTW No I am not a sophmore (however I do go to Ryan). If Ryan people knew who I was, they would scauff at me, for reasons of the past.

 

But trust me we got guys who are very VERY equally matched with Golden Tate. If Pope had Cory Stewart on their team then he would be getting just as much press as Tate did. But I remember playing against Tate, hitting him, and bouncing right off saying "Wtf just happened!" That kids fast, college bound if he can keep his grades up.

Golden Tate is really good. Corry is alright. He's super fast but sometimes makes mistakes, especially at QB. I agree with whoever said our D line is amazing.
