Siegel to state?

We lost a Junior forward to a full tear in everything in her knee but do to the depth on this team it wont affect Siegel that much...The two freshman that will play are honestly just as good if not above her. She had taken a while off while these two freshman had been playing select so they are ready to come in and play.

siegel was down 1-0 and playing rather poorly when CCS basically just kicks a ball from midfield with no one even on that side of the field....Goalie steps up and ball bounces right over her head and that ended up being the difference in the game. That and great goalkeeping from CCS. Siegel scored on a header with 10 minutes to go and in usual siegel fashion went full steam from there. Siegel had two breakaways where they easily could have been goals late in the game and the goalie for CCS made saves although one was a borderline foul. Siegel looked frustrated and the pouring rain seemed to reak havoc on their normally crisp ball handling. I believe that was the main difference in the game....Siegel just wasn't fielding the ball cleanly in the rain and it didn't phase CCS hardly at all.

you have to learn how to play in the rain the hard way because the way the ball bounces or doesn't bounce your normal offence does not work so you have to play irish football or long ball

Totally agree...it looked to really throw off Siegel's passing. The way the ball was skidding Siegel couldnt get used to it for one reason or another....it also cost us when our keeper went completely the wrong way on that second goal.

the siegal goal came with only 2 and a half minutes left and it was a shot from outside the box that bounced off the keeper and fell right in front and was put in by an open player in the box. both teams had a lot of shots on that game and a lot of oportunities. both teams played well but ccs controlled the game better.

After seeing Siegel alot I've noticed that they are a second half team....From the last 15 minutes on Siegel controls play....Most certainly had their chances to score...but I agree that CCS controlled play for first half

i have to agree that they control the second half of the game, which is very good, but once they can learn to play like that the entire length of the game is when they will not be able to be stopped, but i still have faith in them and its only the beginning of the season they have amaizng players and a lot of potential for this year and the next few years
