My pick Dyersburg 24-21

2 good teams.... dyersburg 4-0.....crockett 2-0.....

 

pa pratt and james counce....

 

crockett brings a team that was reported in pre-season to be the best team since the one several years ago that played in the 3A championship game....

 

dyersburg brings in a team that was reported to have as much talent (although that talent is young) as the 97 team that made the 4A semis.....

 

both teams has some injuries that they are having to deal with...

 

who wins? the team who makes the fewest mistakes......

As an alumni of Dyersburg and a resident/teacher at Crockett Co., I am somewhat torn in who to pull for this weekend. I guess I'll have to look to Robert E. Lee for wisdom and say that I can't side against my home.

This game will be a good one and the winner will have an advantage going into the rest of the region schedule. Crockett has looked tough early on and I'm sure Dyersburg is just as tough. I predict the final to be Crockett Co 35 Dyersburg 28 in a good one.
