I think they beat a down Rhea Co. team. They are better than people give them credit for after their horrible loss to WB, but they still aren't living up to the hype. For their size, they should've dominated Rhea Co. from the start. The game was very close until the fourth quarter.

They still have to play a good Oak Ridge, a good Ooltewah, and a pretty good Farragut and they will probably lose all those

Are all the pieces in place? Let's not get carried away here. They beat the worst team they will see all year. Yes, I think even Bradley could beat that Rhea team. What pieces are you talking about? Moving Ricketts to tb? He got most of his yards on his own athletic ability with no help from a big and soft O line. Give the coaches credit, a few years ago Ricketts would never have been in that position and Dobbs wouldn't be there either. This week SD should beat Bradley, but after that most of the rest of the season is up in the air. They will be even or underdogs the rest of the season. Can they make the playoffs? They will have to beat Bradley, McMinn, Heritage, and Farragut and hope someone else beats Blount twice and beats Farragut twice. At best now SD could finish 4-3 in the region, but... I think they will be underdogs against Ooltewah, OakRidge, Farragut, and maybe even with McMinn and Heritage. Unfortunetly needing a win against Ooltewah in the last game won't be a good way to finish the season. I have a feeling that that game won't mean anything by the time it gets here. There are only 3-4 seniors that are carrying this team, to bad senior night/homecoming is against the #3 5A team in the state. This years team minus those seniors is a sign of things to come.

i always felt like soddy was the best team that did the least with it, not to hurt the former coach but his teams were a major let down

I like the adjustment they have made. Coach Weathers will not give-up. He will keep making changes to try and give his team the best oportunity to win. With that being said I don't think Ricketts can carry the ball 25+ times a game and stay healthy. Don't get caught under estimating the Bears this friday. It would be bad to have been eaten by a Lion and a Bear.

Soddy should be able to handle Bradley this friday. I just don't think they have enough weapons to make another play-off run in this region.

I am of coarse a bradley fan but we have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game with Soddy our Defense keeps getting better and coach allen has had two weeks to prepare for the trojans if our Offense can get it together i blieve we beat Soddy this friday . Oh and this is our home opener as well.
