Offense:

AE tall receivers will exploit LA corners. Pro like offense will have 5 to 10 yard gains just by throwing to the side lines.

The wide front five will wear down the interior of the LA defensive front.

The AE backfield will be able to exploit holes in the middle and have the speed to take it outside.

Defense:

Large interior linemen will plug the middle. Will be tough for LA to run inside.

Fast ends. Will be hard for LA to sweep.

Strong Linebackers. Will plug the holes quickly that LA makes.

DB speed. If and when the LA backs can break the line of scrimmage then AE has the speed to run them down from behind if needed.

AE Safeties. Loft some passes toward these guys and watch them dance.

Well Skipper you were right! Not many weak spots on this team!! #32 just killed us. Too much speed for LA (this time). How did Knox Catholic beat you? I think next time may be a different story unless we play a great game and knock one of you off!! See you in round 2 or 3 of playoffs, I hope!!

...We(Tyner) scrimmaged both teams...LA in May and A-E in August...I think A-E will win this game by 10pts or better...should be a good one especially since it's LA's homecoming!!!

Well Austin East has a really good team and we all knew that before the game. However so does Livingston Academy. I had a good time at the game. I have been watching my Yellow Jackets this year so it was nice to see something other than a total blowout for a change.

LA is a good school in a nice community. Sure I was a jerk with some of the things I said in the few posts I have made, but......AE is something else.

 

I am not from AE. Just know the situation. New coach. new players. Some cases going to court to play. AE has dominated Fulton during the regular season. My son and I have gone to the last two years playoffs at AE. Fulton won by a hair. Hard work and desire.

Mike had an ice pack on his shoulder after halftime. Don't know how bad it is. Thought Reeder played a good game in Mike's absence!! Another great game from Wilson. We were only a couple of plays away from a BIG win. Let's go out and win these next 4 and roll into the playoffs!! GO CATS

Yeah,that's one of the plays I was talking about . If Holt gets one more step or Wilson takes just a hair off, that play works and it's a whole new game!! If we work in a few plays like that and make them work, we would be VERY hard to beat!!
