what i think it all comes down to, in any game really, is who WANTS it more. if the oakland boys want this win bad enough, i have faith that they will get it. if that team puts every single one of their hearts in it, plays as a team, and BELIEVES they can do it ... great things can be accomplished. they just cant hold onto the tough past few weeks that they have had and have some faith in themselves once again.

man, should i be a motivational speaker or what. :thumb:

Is it just me or is it funny how a team the week before against the number one team in the state only has 2 penalties (that was called) then turns around the next week and has 21 penalties that was called

The refs were bad. They called penalties to call them. The refs said that LaVergnes goaline was illegal. They also called holding on a kid with two broken hands and he did not tackle the defender.

Time to take a GUT CHECK, Patriots......

Time to look LONG and HARD in the mirror and reflect on who is looking back.

Is it a winner or a loser? Is it a fellow looking for individual accolades, or one who would rather have a WIN? Is it a boy or is it a man? Take a cold hard look at reality. Is it someone who will selflessly suffer pain and sacrifice his body for his teammates? Are you PROUD of what you see staring back at you? Are you satisfied? Or do you want more?

Every single person on a team plays a part in its success. From the scout team to the starters...everyone has to be willing to give and everyone has to be willing to SACRIFICE.

Can you HONESTLY say that you have done your part to make this team better? Can you take responsibility for every single move that you made in a game and KNOW that you gave 100%?That you kept hustling even in the face of disaster? That even when we were down that you didn't give up? That instead of finger pointing, you LED your team and encouraged them. That you reacted with every snap? That you visualized every play? That you were in the position to make the play and did it? That you protected your QB abd took up the slack if the person beside you didn't? That you FOUGHT side by side with your BROTHERS and gave it every thing that you had? NO FEAR, NO REGRETS? That you didn't WAIT to be led.......you were the LEADER yourself?

Because it takes every single one of you to do your job, to do your part. Whether you are on the sidelines or on the field...every single man has to be ready, be willing, and be able........don't wait to be called.....don't wait to be a hero....

and if you can be satisfied with what you see in that mirror......if you can be proud of what you see and how you played.....then you will experience that same euphoria that you did in WEEK 0...

ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE.....TAKE A STAND

....AND BECOME A MAN
