Union Co. @ Knox Carter

I would like to see Union Co. give Carter a good game. I really believe though that Carter has too many athletes for Union Co.. Union Co. did show a lot of heart and determination against Pigeon Forge, but the Tigers didn't give them a good game. Maybe Union Co. could win on sheer want to, but the talent level unfortunately seems to be a bit shy of what Carter has. Good luck and stay healthy to both teams!

Me too. I'm not so sure Carter has been challenged that much in 3A thus far. Just shows they were improving while in 4A. Who knows, they may have competed for a playoff spot in 4A this year....

Rebel Nation, you seem a point of sanity in what otherwise is a rant room for BigC and BigWes. Wonder why they started thier nicknames with BIG. Maybe a little inferiority complex, or....oops, I guess thats too BIG a word for them.

 

Anyway, why come here and pick on a team that seems to be having a good year, regardless of classification. I haven't seen them play yet, but it appears they are a good football team and playoff bound.

 

And last but not least, qbsdad, why would the coach want the score to be worse when the game is won?

Carter is too balanced with too much skill. However, it is homecoming and the Carter players are easily distracted this week with the parade and the dance and all that silliness. Plus, the field is sloppy, and this favors the visitors. Union county is not that good or not that fast, but they are the toughest team up until this point and they will fight you with all they've got. Union Co. goes down, Carter survives.
