I hate to admit it, but I miss Yanker. I think he is waiting for Monday to get the HC fans all stirred up over the NS game. In all of these predictions, everyone assumes that HC will beat NS. Please don't jinx us. We should have won against Kenwood and SS also. But you are right, the fish was smiling when I drove by.

Shut down milligan? He had over 200 combined yards in that game. Henry county capitilized on hardin county turnovers. Also, i think it would have been alittle closer if the hardin county defender would have swatted the ball down rather than tip it into a henry county reciever for a touchdown and the questionable call on the pass that was consider a latteral, but whatever happens happens.

See Wingman's comment also. Saying that the Patriots shut down Milligan is not a slam, so please don't take it as one. I would say that 9 points vs. averaging 35 against other opponents would be considered shut down. The other plays you mentioned happened, as they happened to us at Southside. Henry County just didn't bring enough game to the table to finish them off though. That is the way football is, no excuses. To win, you have to bring enough to the table to overcome the refs, the mistakes, or any other variable such as those. Hardin County is an outstanding team and I think the matchup between them and JCM will be great. I beleive it will be a high scoring shootout, but that is next week and I will be more focused on getting the fans up for HC/NS!!!

st. benedict won't come close to beatin jcs. that game that they beat fayette was in week 0 and it was 105 degrees. fayette jumped out to a 21 point lead but they have no depth and were dog tired by halftime. benedict had 3 times the players that fa did and they showed up in the long run. st. benedict is not a very good team, and even if they were jcs still beat fayette by 3 toucdowns. jcs wins easily

Would someone refresh my memory on the Henry Co,/Hardin County game? I know henry won 21-9, but what was the big difference in the game? (turnovers, penalties, passing game, running game....)In other words what was it that Henry County benefited the most from that was key to their victory?

 

I was at the Hardin County - Henry County game. The difference in the game was that Henry County dominated the line of scrimmage. Milligan had little chance to throw the football. Hardin County made several adjustments to their offensive line, and it has made all the difference in the world. Looking forward to the JCM - Hardin County game next Friday night.

You can control alot of games when you can win the line. It can slow a fast high scoring team down.

How about that Hardin county, JCM game, wish I could be there, but that would not be being loyal to my team in Henry county. We have got to take care of business with NS. I do not like the thoughts of having to back in to the first place spot, but we will take it if we can get it. I heard someone from Hardin COunty on espn radio the other night say that if HC beat JCM then Hardin county would be regional champs, that is not how it is, that would only be the case if we lost to NS.

Any Hardin county fans, what happened with Munford, the score seemed closer than I expected? Oh, just drove by the fish, I think I saw the Yanker coming out of the backside of it.

Actually if Hardin beats JCM they will be Co Region champs along with henry county unless they lose to NS. Hardin just gets the #2 spot in region. Happend in '03 with JCM.
