basketballisbest
If you mean 4A in SE TN maybe it is the best rivalry there. In Chattanooga you'd have to say Baylor and McCallie. This could be a good one; I think I'll pick Hixson in an upset. Red Bank hasn't been tested very much and Hixson comes out clicking and surprises them. ZachSanders#1fan
First off I don't have to say that McCallie and Baylor are the best rivalry in Chattanooga.....I know plenty of rivalries that r of the same magnitude..example Soddy and Red Bank.......Ooltewah and Soddy.....Central and Ooltewah..... East Ridge and Notre Dame......South Pittsburg and Marion County is bigger and better than all of them..... Now back to the subject of this thread...Red Bank wins purely on defense,,,granted they have an offense that will score on ya but their defense is by far the best in town!! Red Bank 35 Hixson
medman
what are the region 4 standings and what are the possibilities after this Friday nite's games?
HTV
what are the region 4 standings and what are the possibilities after this Friday nite's games? Here's how I see it: The winner of Red Bank/Hixson game is one, the loser is two. The winner likely will host Halls and the loser will host Powell. White County and Rhea County play this Friday. The winner is the third team from the region and will go to Knoxville Central. The loser is 4 and gets to travel to Maryville.

HTV
how do these teams stack up to our boys from 3-4a? htv? I haven't really done much research yet on that region. On the surface, Red Bank has lost only one game, and that was 6-3 to a mediocre Austin-East team. Hixson has lost to an undefeated Notre Dame team, to Soddy-Daisy, and were defated by Cleveland in a region game soundly, 28-7. Traditionally region 3 is much stronger top to bottom than region 4. If memory serves in the last 2 years region 3 has won 3 of the 4 first round match ups against region 4. BenHasRisen
Yeah, region 4-4A will be lucky to send more than one team past the first round, and that's from a person who is affiliated with 4-4A football, I have much respect for region 3. ZachSanders#1fan
We all have much respect for region 3,but Red Bank will go further than you think! Knox Central and Maryville are the best in the East, but Red Bank is gonna be a thorn in someone side this playoff season...Don't overlook them or they will make you pay! Yeah, that powerful 6-3 loss to Austin-East was impressive. We saw Red Bank in the spring.
