you know how we roll  ....21 days til the big time though

Thank you for the Siegel Middle School Girls Tournament Champions Nation who came to the rescue Thursday afternoon and helped a few members of the Siegel Nation bring the Stars a victory against Franklin. The most memorable cheer they made when things were getting close and Franklin cheering section was very loud was 31 girls in unison holding up two fingers which meant in Middle School Lingo for the Franklin cheering section to "quiet down". The Franklin Body in great sportmanship seemed to get a kick out of the move and the group was quickly made ex offico members Of the Nation. Thanks Coach Stoecker.

thanks...congrats on a great season too! Too bad yall couldnt pull it out...

Siegel High School, its third year in existance, certainly had a great fall program, With a great volleyball team which could have been ranked anywhere in the top 6 in Tennessee beating all but one team ranked above it one time or another and Siegel Soccer team which arguably could be ranked in the top 8 in the State beating some of the other teams in the State Tournament, has put together and trained some very good student/ athletes and with two of the finest Coaches and Assistant Coaches of Young Women in the State. It has been a late reminder of the great teams that came out of Blackman when it first was opened. District 7AAA and Region 4AAA with the great teams out of Chattanooga have wound up with great schools and the competition is very fierce. The Siegel nation, self proclaimed Best Student Body in Tennessee and maybe the South, puts on a great show for both teams. THERE IS NO DOUBT THEY ARE LOUD AND PROUD OF THEIR TEAMS. High goals abound but all of these goals seem to promote the Young Women to be the best they can be, no matter the stage of their development. Great Job Siegel Stars.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
