reddevilfever
If I were UT I would be very worried when Vandy comes to town this year. They put up 42 points @Florida. If my memory serves me correct UT had 7. Vandy will beat Kentucky and lay it all on the line against UT and go to the Music City Bowl or the Independence Bowl. Tennessee also held Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Florida to fewer points than Vanderbilt did. The last few games for these teams will be interesting. It would be nice for the VU-UT matchup to be for possible bowl eligibility - it would add spice to what already should be a good matchup. That said, though, it's not out of the realm of possibility that neither can be bowl eligible by the time the game occurs. Kentucky can play with VU - as bad as the Wildcats are, I'm sure they still look at VU as a winnable game. As for UT, much poorer Memphis teams have given much better UT teams fits. VU and UT should win their next games, but I think one of them will be upset. Who, I don't know, but I have a feeling. Regardless of bowl implications, VU needs to be beat UT this year. With the losses of Cutler, Osemwegie, Davis, et al. next year, now is the time to break a very long losing streak to the Vols. gotmilk?
Call it a gut feeling, but this is Vandy's year to bet UT. If they are going to do it, this is the year, but I still just have this feeling, that UT will not fold to Vandy!!

Who woulda thunk it, but it looks like you were wrong reddevil!!! My 'Cats beat Vandy 48-43 just now for their first road win in 3 years! UK actually led this one 48-17 midway thru the 3rd Quarter before Vandy came back and made it go down to the final minute. Great win, Cats! ---rSquared
