Didn't say MickeyR folded or maybe I did,JV but NOT calling a time out after 2 quick fouls was not smart coaching. Fuller was a great coach, was, same goes for MickyR, maybe they had a brain freeze. To brag so fast about State now and not considering the rest of the state or 13AA is like say Marshall just got lucky.

OMG, here ya go again braging about State, Gibson Co is a long way from it. Watching the MCRussell coaching staff fold last year in State, I dont see a brain trust there. GC has gota get past 13AA first. Seen alot great teams fold before, take LSU football at the first of the year, and look now. Its one game at a time then MickeyR can look to the east for their challenge.

Thanks Rowdyfan ! I do think that GC will prevail on their quest this year. There are some people on this tread who can't see the forest for the trees. To me this is the 2nd season of the year,after district teams all across the state have steped up and answered the call for the rite to be at the Boro. Past is past its an even playing feild, all teams are as nervous as the rest but I think GC has 7 great players who and will get the job done. Those 2 games at region were for other teams to watch on how not to never give up. So press on GC.

Ok howaboutthemdogs............I was at that game, just watching for referance,1st I have never seen a ref shoot a ball for the other team and at both games endings fouls were about even for the 4 quarters. Gibson Co had some players step up with a killer defense ,43 55 and others I think which made for offense. The way GC was at those games they earned the right to be at the Boro , so just get over it. Rite now the way GC is anything is possible, with players strong inthe post, some great guards and a great point and the excellent coaching staff they have the heart to do it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I know Marshall is good are they wouldn't be there, but I think GC has the soul to do it all. Both teams had better be at 110% Thursday at 12:30. Dont't know much about either,but guessing both will press hard and push the game up to a faster tempo. So which of these teams have the best subs? The team with the best will take it all the way.

The 8 teams that are in the Boro now are all great. What it boils down to now who has the best subs? The teams that does"t have some depth on the bench will not go that far.

I was at the game, dont know who she is it think her number is 43, but she had played some strong defense in the last quarter that turned the game in favor for GC. Good luck to GC.

I just read the stats on this game on Jackson Sun Online. Who is this Felica Huey and where has the wizard been keeping her? From what I read she sounds like one solid player 3 three buckets? Guess the wiz has more than we know?????????????

I thought this post was about sub-state not who wanted to get noticed on the bench. Coaches need to act like the adults not blaming all the bad stuff on the reffs. If you go to Nationals and act like that you get throwed out or worst , so you might want to dwell on that.

All Im hearing is if and but for next year. Dont think OC will make it out of district much less state. Next year is a long way off, looking for team to win it next year who hasn't been to the big dance in a while. It can be any team. The way AA is in Tenn. I think the floor is opend, lots ofn great players to make a differance next year in all districts. Thanks girs for a great year on the rollercoaster of AA.

Its all about the refs tonite. I dont look for OC to get any breaks. Maybe 13AA will get the best of them, but looking for NS by 10

So UTM won a game, was anyone there to see it? The stands are empty because there are no local players on the team. West Tenn has a ton of talent, enough to beat any OVC team.Bring in the local girls wich would in turn bring in more money from ticket sales,and Booster Club money. Till UTM gets to thinking like that they might as well be playing at Westview gym,cause it woul hold all the people there plus some. Also geting local talent would bring some excitment back there something UTM needs badly.

This season? One thing that stays in my mind was the LSU game on ESPN, 14 arrests on the team. Hey this suff must not happen, shows lack of control somewhere. All teams do have bad years, but its just a hard pill to swallow with our coach getting over 2million a year.Next year just have to wait an see.

I was at the game yesterday,Vandy was playing with heart, something TN has not had all year.
