I am posting this on here hoping that someone can come up with a solution. We found out tonight that the team has lost the National Guard Armory as a practice facility, and we are figurativly out in the cold. We need something in the general area of the school that is large enough. About gym size seems to be about right!! And by the way, make it fast, we are done at the Armory on the 23 of Nov.

Is there no way now that the Principal would allow the team to use the old Elementary school gym versus the Drama/Choir facility (which is rarely used)???

You would think that since it was a gym to start with, that it would be used for that purpose.

Our principal shows no support for the wrestling team other than offering the use of the gym while 2 basketball teams are practicing in there already. He did say we could build our own facility but not until the completion of his show choir/drama comversion of the old gym. (Which was originally promised for our use). Apparently he likes show choir better than wrestling.

Used that last year and it was great, but it is being used for fire, police, and rescue squads this year. we are currently using the armory, and we are in great debt to them, but the troops are back.

You would think that the feeder school into the #1 team in the state would have some support from the school system, but we do not.

If anyone can do anything to help or has any ideas please let us know!!!
