Both South and DB have a lot of other games to worry about before this one. If they both go into it at about 2 and 5 who the heck cares, ya know?

It will take DB more than 7 points to beat this South team and I don't think Mrs. Throp can get the job done. Face it DB you all are terrible at basketball this year and you have no chance. Good luck with your 4th or 5th place finish in the conference this year. GO REBS!!!

Well, South looked good last night losing at home to Tenn High with eight players including their best player out. South is well on their way to state!

Well, South looked good last night losing at home to Tenn High with eight players including their best player out. South is well on their way to state!

 

Tricitiessports.com said one starter (Johnson/point guard) and 2 key reserves were out. But, nevertheless, you are correct, South should have won if they are going to be as good as everyone thinks. If they don't play better than this, they can forget even making it to the regionals. But, as bad as they were last year, and still beat D-B 2 out of 3, I'd have to give the edge to South this year. Only time will tell........

TN High is a good team but South should have won the game. I think it will be a wake up call for the Rebels and they know now that every team is going to bring their "A" game against them. The Rebels will take this loss to heart and let it fuel them through the rest of the season. They know now that every conference game is a big game, not quite do or die,but it is pretty close to it. That will be enough to push them past DB and Science Hill. This should be an exciting season in the Big9! GO REBS!!!

I picked South to win the Big 9 conference...very surprised by last nights loss, but I am sure that won't be the only upset this year in the conference...South has to be able to get up for every game in the conference and play with the passion that they have for D-B and the Hill...
