banjodr
If any of you saw the action Saturday night and saw the injury you along with everyone in the gym (deathly silence) may have thought the worst. Carol just got out of the Bone and Joint Clinic with good news. Minimal tear in the Medial Collateral Ligament. No surgery needed. out 3-4 weeks and should be fine. Our prayers were answered for Carol's health. Outlook is great. The Lady Lions will have someone step up (like the Braves did when Chipper went down) and we'll grow stronger. As many of you saw in the Rotary Thanksgiving Tournament. the Lady Lions will have to be reckoned with. This may slow it down a bit but no one promised us a paved road this year. We'll take the bumps and mud and Carol will help her replacement until she gets back then we'll see...... Thanks for all your concerns. We'll keep injury updates on the web. www.columbialadylions.com

The 16 she put up Saturday is only a sampling of what is to come. Carol, we love you and admire your effort and ability and can't wait to see ya back but please don't rush anything and do as the doc says. With great relief I can say HOOPS TO YA!!! kw

ptguard12
That's good to hear. Columbia needs her desperately as Lampley, in my opinion, brings more intensity into the game then anyone on the floor for the Lady Lions. Also, their post game is a little weaker without her in there, but it will give someone else a chance to get some experience on the floor. When she returns, look for Columbia to make a strong charge for Murfreesboro.
