Job Opening in West Knox County

Ground was broken on Monday of this week on a new 5A High School in the Hardin Valley area of West Knox County. It doesn't have a name yet but should start JV ball in 2008 and varsity in 2010.

 

I grew up on Oak Ridge football, but I would have to drive by this school everytime I go to an OR game. It's only 4 miles from where I live, so I was thinking it might be nice to help build something that the whole community could get behind.

 

Is it too soon to start working on organizing a booster club?

This coming from someone who knows all about class !! Let's hear you make fun of some more 16 & 17 yr old boys about the amount of playing time they get again ... that was really interesting .

You are 1 for 2. Maryville is a great football team with a great coaching staff. since Fullmer lives in Maryville, maybe he should get with GQ and find out how he does things. Don't remember GQ ever going 5-6 AND losing to someone as lowly as the Commodores. ROCK BOTTOM FOR THE VOLS!

This is not the place for these kinds of accusations! Also, lets not put any specific coaches on that type of pedestal or for that matter talk poorly of any of them either. Coach Brewer is a good coach but with the exception of the state championship year has been mediocre at best.

Get it right getright ! i was not referring to Coach Brewer ... plus it was not an accusation .. it was a fact , Msgov was making fun of one of our player's playing time in the state championship game . he/she/it is bitter because the young man moved from he/she/it's school . It's sort of hypocritical for an adult to mention class when their stooping that low .
