Ok, It's here! Gleason vs. Union City...

Does Gleason defeat Union City by double digits like all the other wins this year? I have to voice my opinion and say with Kayla running the show, it's 10-15 points even though it's on the road. 2 undefeated teams, this early in the year, it's a measuring stick for Union City, and a mental test for Gleason. Who wins it?

IMO Union City comes out on top in this one.....Ward is a force, and she's only a freshman...Union City continues the unthinkable, and stays undefeated...

Union City will not be able to wear down the Lady Bulldogs the way they did Lake County. While the Lady Golden Tornadoes are a relatively deep team, Gleason is an extremely deep team, with an extremely strong starting 5. If Union City can handle the press and the overall pressure of the game, then they could pull the upset. However, I just don't see that happening. Gleason by 9.

Will Union City's storybook start to the 05-06 season continue or will the tradition rich Lady Bulldogs of Gleason bring the Lady Tornadoes back to reality??..Well,that's the question of the week...Gleason is very well coached and does have confidence a storied program like Gleason is supposed to have..Union City is off to its best start since the mid 1920's...Not much tradition there...Union City showed something not many past UC teams have done last Tuesday night..They got down early to a good team on the road and didn't throw in the towel...They were patient,played hard and finally wore down Lake County's Lady Falcons with their deep bench....Union City pretty much goes 9 deep without a dropoff...Union City will be playing at home,where they beat Obion County Central,who has already beaten Gleason..That may give the Lady Tornadoes some added confidence...I don't think UC will get rattled in this one..Times they are a'changin at Union City...This would be a HUGE feather in the cap of Jeff Chandler if he can come up with a victory over Randy Frazier's bunch..In an early season upset that might not be such an upset come tournament time..Union City 52-Gleason 49.....Can you say 8-0???

Should be a great game. I think Union City wins in a close one. Gleason is good but U.C. is so deep and big.
