They were good in AA and now they are in single A, which means the other should be worried. Jim Brown has those girls ready to play in every ball game and that will never change. Jim Brown is the legend and will continue to be. I feel sorry for Clarkrange by putting them in their district.

Jackson County is a great ball team with a great coach, but they are beatable...they shouldn't let anything go to there heads...

No need to feel sorry for them you all just better hope that you dont choke nobody else is really expected to beat JC but if they do JC could consider this year a failure JC just better win the stat or all JC fans will be very disappointed.

It says alot about a program when everyone says it will be a bad year if you don't win the state championship doesn't it? Jackson County is everyone's Super Bowl so dealing with that pressure, game in and game out, year in and year out is nothing new, they won't choke. :thumb:

When you win 4 straight in 2A then drop to 1A a year later, of course you are going to be expected to do they same! But I still aint ready to hand the Gold to JC just yet!!! :lol:

Feel sorry for a team that has 7 gold trophies? There's a lotta hardware between those two teams!

      If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.

      Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.

      You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
