According the Ryan and MBA websites, tournament starts at 10am.

 

I also think Mt. Juliet rather than BA is participating.

The MBA duals are listed on the Mt. Juliet schedule. They are not shown on the Brentwood Academy schedule.

I dont see how you can round robin 7 teams. I can see 6 teams= 5 matches per wrestler but I didnt think you could wrestle more than 5 per day. Am I missing something?

Big------any word on the format? That is 7 teams which sort of rules out pools. And if everyone wrestles everyone, that would be 6 matches----------is that allowed? Of course, with the Cecil B. DeMille cast of thousands that both MBA and Father Ryan seem have out for wrestling this year, and this being the the "giving" time of year, maybe the brothers Simpson will put together an 8th squad composed of Ryan/MBA wrestlers who will wrestle together as one to give the tournament two pools of four teams each ( yeah, right, and there will be peace in Iraq, too).

 

Where the heck are Irishdad, Bkpres and cbq when you really need them?

I say compose an 8th team using the coaches and assistant coaches from all the schools participating. It will be hard to find a 103lber for that team but at least you've got a sure bet at 275 with Sommers there......... if he makes weight. lol

Got the following from one of the team coaches.

 

Teams: Fr. Ryan, FRA, MBA, Mt. Juliet, Smyrna, Tullahoma

 

Weigh-ins 8:00 Wrestling begins @ 9:00

 

Round 1 - 9:00

Round 2 - 10:30

Round 3 - 12:00

Round 4 - 1:30

Round 5 - 3:00

Overton will be there to wrestle only MBA. However, they have said that any team that wants to wrestle Overton in place of another may do so. So the format will still stay 6 teams. 3 mats.
